The challenge
Hasacon has delivered many projects inside this operating campus for Sumitomo Heavy Industries. With the plant fully active, the central challenge was protecting staff safety and factory operations throughout.
Hasacon's solution
Hasacon proposed and coordinated with plant management: material staging zones, allocated walkways, restricted areas and proper signage; barriers and zoning that avoided any impact on production; and tight supervision of material deliveries with sensible scheduling for safety across the whole works.
Delivered result
The warehouse extension was completed with safety assured for all staff throughout construction, in full compliance with safety and fire-prevention requirements.
